Rolf Hilchner, founder of Ashampoo and current supervisory board member, celebrates his 56th birthday. “During my life I was given many gifts and I am proud and very happy that I can give something in return“, says Hilchner. Contrary to birthday customs, it is Hilchner who gives gifts on his birthday. For 11 days nearly all Ashampoo products are available at the bargain price of 15 EUR. Therefore some programs can be purchased at a discount of up to 70 %. Rolf Hilchner, who founded Ashampoo in 1999, retired from the day-to-day business a few months ago and advises the new management as member of the supervisory board. “I still feel deeply attached to our fans and from this the idea was born to give away gifts on my birthday. We have already done this in the past and the feedback of our fans was overwhelming,” says the supervisory board member.
