Remote working at Ashampoo Preventive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 effective immediately

In light of the recent spread of COVID-19 and the fact that, as an international company, we employ people around the world, we’ve been paying close attention to the current situation for quite some time now. At Ashampoo, we not only feel obliged to our customers but also to our staff, and we attach great importance to the issues of worker safety and risk prevention. In addition, we want to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus, which is why we’ve taken precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of our employees, their families and friends as well as society as a whole.

Working remotely

In the past few years, we’ve created a solid and dependable work environment that enables our staff to work remotely without loss of efficiency. This contributes to the safety of our staff and our associates by avoiding direct personal contact and ensures business can continue uninterrupted.

As a software company, we have every option to offer remote working, which is why our staff will be working from home starting Monday, March 16, 2020. We hope this preventive measure will slow down the spread of Corona virus while allowing us to maintain a strong online presence, so our customers will enjoy the same level of service and product access they’ve come to expect from us.

Travel & Health policy

As of today, all face-to-face communication with customers and business partners, including meetings, will take place in an online environment through professional video conferencing solutions to avoid direct physical contact and minimize the risk of infection for our staff members and third parties. We’re confident there will be no noticeable negative impact on our availability in the coming weeks.

We encourage our staff members to observe the recommended hygiene protocols–until the aforementioned decentralization measures were imposed, our offices at our //CRASH headquarters were sufficiently equipped with toiletries and mandatory hand sanitizing stations to ensure the safety of our staff members and visitors on site.

In the face of a global health crisis, we seek to provide our employees with the highest possible degree of safety and risk prevention, while also remaining fully and actively available for our customers and business partners.
